I’m a visual designer and graphic designer!
Ciao, my name is Kevin
Curiosity is my favorite aspect of my personality.
As a child, I dismantled various technological devices, gaining problem-solving skills and a unique perspective that often led to unconventional solutions. It taught me that things not working as intended could be repurposed for something different. It's akin to realizing a door is, in essence, a differently shaped tree. This curiosity has seamlessly integrated with my artistic interests inherited from my mother, allowing me to explore both the technical and artistic facets of graphic design.
My educational journey reflects my adaptability and pursuit of autonomy. Transitioning from high school to a year in the printing industry, I yearned for constant learning. This led me to study Economy and Marketing in Florence, though the persistent challenge of mathematics prompted a shift towards a more creative path. This flexibility in educational paths greatly influenced my current skill set as a freelancer, offering a diverse set of experiences and perspectives.
Overcoming challenges, especially in mathematics, taught me the importance of acknowledging limitations and dealing with problems promptly. Moving to London presented language barriers and an ego-check, encouraging me to embrace a balance between graphic design and life. I learned that avoiding challenges only hinders growth, and facing them head-on is essential for personal development.
My professional growth includes significant milestones like collaborating with Magnum Photos and Steve McCurry for the Brescia Photo Festival. Designing the festival's logo, a brand identity, provided exposure and networking opportunities. Shifting from a teacher assistant in Graphic Design to freelancing with major clients like Huawei brought variety to my life. While I miss being a teacher assistant, freelancing allows me to explore different projects and learn more about various industries.
Becoming a freelancer was motivated by collaborations in London and a solid network. Balancing work with both large corporations like Huawei, IQOS, Qatar Government and smaller local projects is crucial for maintaining a grounded perspective and supporting smaller entities.
Reflecting on personal growth, I perceive it as a continuous necessity for evolving and learning. It defines both my professional and personal identity.
I envision a bright future, aspiring to collaborate with motivated individuals, exchange inspiration, and engage in exciting projects.
My favourite colour is purple
I was never particularly fond of the color blue, having been quite obsessed with red in the past. However, as I grew older, I came to realize that I wasn't exclusively red; there was a touch of blue within me as well—a fusion of both.
My favourite animal is the deer
The deer is the king of the wood: Gentle, vigilant deer symbolizes sensitivity, grace, intuition, renewal, and community—a harmonious blend of nature's wonders. It might eat only grass but none is brave enoght to make problems to it.
My favourite number is 5
Number 5 in numerology effortlessly embodies adaptability, energy, versatility, curiosity, sociability, and dynamism, signifying freedom and enthusiasm.
